Get to Know Me

Originally from Westhampton Beach, New York Mara has always been drawn to the water, while on the hunt for colleges, Mara fell in love with Newport and hasn’t left since. Mara studied Marketing at Salve Regina University where she was an active member of the varsity sailing team.
 
When Mara wasn’t on the water she worked as the marketing director for both non-profit and private businesses, where she honed her skills in event marketing, event planning, and social media marketing. Before joining Our Real Estate, her classes in Cultural and Historic Preservation inspired Mara to work at local and New York-based interior design companies, where her love for styling and staging really came through. With expertise in the marketing field as well as in staging and design, Mara began her real estate career.
 
On most summer days you can catch Mara on Narragansett Bay, but most likely you’ll find her walking through the fifth ward with her two dogs, Sam and Darsea, or at home with family and friends and her cat Commodore. Mara takes great pride in her community in Newport and volunteers her time with local non-profits like Sail Newport and IYRS.
